Many of you might have been wondering what happened to this blog after activity ceased in 2012. To put it simply, I felt The Irish Duelist had run its course, but this also coincided with a new opportunity that had come about at that time.
In short, I am now working full-time with Konami Digital Entertainment, and have been for some time. 2 of the key areas I work in are the updating and developing of yugioh-card.com's European & Oceanian pages, and the management of the game's European event coverage.
The 4 years that I spent blogging here at The Irish Duelist were a life-changing experience, and I'd like to thank you all for being a part of it. The blog will remain online for people to look back on, but will no longer be updated. If you want to stay up-to-date with the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG be sure to head to the official site(s), whereas if you want to keep up-to-date with what I do in my spare time you can find everything here.
Thanks for reading,
Hey everyone. As I'm sure you're all aware, the blog's not been updated as frequently as it had been in the past; I've got other priorities besides The Irish Duelist right now so the posting of new content has to take a back seat. With that in mind, I feel it's only fair to let you all know I won't be updating the blog for a while.

YCS Toronto is the first major event of the new format and Konami have issued a press release with all the basic information on the event.
Here's a brief look at some of the most popular stories from around the Yugiweb this week. You can find all the links of note on The Irish Duelist's Twitter page, which is also shown in the live ticker on the right-hand side.
