Stand Alone Challenge - Cologne, Germany

I spotted this while looking around etcg.de(I don't speak/read German, I just used Google Translate). Here's the coverage thread, and I've posted the meta and decklists that were made public below:

A look at Lightsworn

For most people these days there is only 1 deck worth running, the one with its own ROTA, Demise, Cylinder, Zombie Master, Breaker etc. I'm on about Lightsworn obviously, and have been running it for the past few months, taking a break (or a risk that blew up in my face) every so often to try out something new.

As everybody that's run the deck will know, it tends to fall flat on its face every so often, usually after milling most of its 'outs' or not milling any Necro Gardnas. During this time I've tried out various things with the deck in order to make it safer to run and have come to a conclusion; 40 cards is the way to go.

Here's the deck I've been running at locals for the past few weeks, going undefeated in the process:

New Konami Event Coverage Blog is online.

Just spotted this when I was looking for some articles:

New link for COSSY

Source: http://www.yugioh-card.com/uk/news/news9.html

Dear Duelists and registered Konami Players,

There is a change to how you access the COSSY player page from October 15th on.

The new link will be https://www.cossy.konami.NET/ (instead of .jp).

Please make sure you use the .net link from now on although the old one will redirect for some time to the actual page, save it in your preferences or favorites etc.

You can access your player stats like ranking and personal data like username, address data etc. from your player page.

Stardust Overdrive - Full Card List?

While browsing the Pojo forums this morning, I came across a post from Dimitri, a Belgian player I've met a few times. What he posted was a supposed set-list for Stardust Overdrive, which is coming out in November. This list included the OCG imports, as well as the names of the TCG exclusives.

Judging by Dimitri's posting history, this should be legitimate, though I would like to know who his sources are, as he seems to get a lot of 'insider information' before it's made public.

Pictures of new products.

I don't usually head to this site, but YUGInewz.com recently posted up a whole bunch of info regarding new products and so-on. Here are some of the pics on display, along with any info that isn't already up on Konami's product page. Please note that all of this information is unconfirmed by Konami (except for the Twilight Edition), and is not 100% accurate at this time:

Shonen Jump Championship heading to Austin, Texas

Some more info that I was asked to put up, about the next SJC:

Austin, Texas : The next city to hold the prestigous Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game Shonen Jump Championship, on October 17th/18th

The new look is here!

You might be wondering why everything looks so different. Well, after days of planning and hours of coding, I've finally got the blog looking the way I want it.

Let's take a look at all the changes in detail:

Local Tournament Advertisements

Galway Local Tournament Videos (in 'HD')

This weekend I headed up to Galway for a tournament, along with 3 other players from Limerick (Chris Murray, Darren Kiff and Patrick Farrell). It was the first 'proper' Galway tournament in over a year (I won the last one, back during the Prisma GB format) so we decided to support it and do something different to the norm (playing in Limerick).

Since information and advertising was thin on the ground, there were only 8 players present. 4 Rounds of Swiss followed by a Top 4 cut-off. I topped swiss, going 4-0 with a 40 card Lightsworn deck and my playoff matches were recorded (many thanks to Martin Stephens for recording these):
