Meet the Karakuri!



We’ve seen many new and exciting families of monsters that made their debut in recent booster sets. Hidden Arsenal 2 introduced Duelists to Naturia, which can work together with existing cards to lock down opponents. Scrap monsters made a big splash in Duelist Revolution and have already seen tournament success, making it to the Top 16 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Championship series events across the globe! Scraps and Naturia get all new cards in Starstrike Blast, but we’ll also see a brand new set of cards make their first appearance. It’s time to meet the Karakuri!

MNM: Plant Synchro vs LIGHT Gemini Beatdown




Welcome back to Monday Night Matchups! Tonight we pit the 2 most recent YCS-winning Decks against each other with tips for Duelists on both sides of the table on how to emerge victorious. LIGHT Gemini Beatdown and Plant Synchro are both slower-paced strategies than those we’ve become accustomed to so far on the YCS scene, but each Deck has its own unique and powerful combos that can take down opponents one by one until they have to face off against each other! Tonight we’ll explain how each Deck works, and give you tips for both sides of the matchup, so that no matter what side you’re on, you’ll know what to do.

It’s when you use a card or effect to cause your opponent to go from controlling several cards at once to having nothing, leaving them wide open for attacks.
