2011 Collectors Tins: Wave 2 announced.

News has filtered in about this year's second wave of collectors tins (the first wave with the Pot of Duality reprint is out this week). While the promo contents aren't known yet we are given a few hints and can make some educated guesses:

Introducing the New Yu-Gi-Oh 2011 Wave 2 Collector Tin.
Included is 5 boosters (2 Storm of Ragnarok, 2 Extreme Victory, 1 Generation Force); in specially designed Tin Box with 5 extra Variant cards as added value. 2 different Tins per Wave.

There are two different designs :
1st design Variant cards:
1 Secret Rare Monster
1 Super Rare Monster card that has so far only been released in the US
2 Super Rare reprints of popular Monster cards
1 Super Rare reprint of a popular Trap card (same in both designs)

2nd design Variant cards:
1 Secret Rare Xyz Monster
1 Super Rare Monster card that has so far only been released in the US
2 Super Rare reprints of popular Monster cards
1 Super Rare reprint of a popular Trap card (same in both designs),

Perfect for the new player, or for the veteran looking to fill out his collection.

Individual card names are still to be confirmed.
Each case includes 12 tins, 6 of each.

Looking at what's mentioned above we can make a few guesses before Konami officially announces the tins on their site and reveals some promo cards. The "popular Trap Card" that's available in both tins is most likely Solemn Warning, since Pot of Duality was the "popular Spell Card" that was available in both Wave 1 tins. The 2 "US only" cards are likely to be legality reprints, cards that were not available/legal in Europe up till now. Looking at the legality page the 2 most likely candidates would be Elemental HERO The Shining and Malefic Stardust Dragon. As for the final 2 monster cards in each tin, we got Archlord Kristya in the Wave 1 tins so I'd expect something similarly strong in Wave 2, probably Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo or Scrap Dragon.

Of course all the above is just pure speculation, we'll know exactly what promos are revealed when Konami update their products page.
